PATRICK TURNER

At the beginning of the 2005 season, leg-spinner Patrick Turner embarked on his seventh season as a Boston Cricket Club player, after joining the club in 1999 and he has performed well on numerous occasions for a variety of different XIs.

Patrick took his first five-wicket haul in 2002, claiming 5-23 versus Hasbins XI in a friendly at the Mayflower, and followed it up with 6-33 against Pointon. Patrick also showed his batting capabilities, scoring 45 not out against Pointon for the Third XI. He was a pupil at Boston Grammar School and achieved excellent GCSE results, gaining nine A*s and one A. Patrick took up a place at Cambridge University in September 2003 following the completion of his A-Levels.

Patrick recorded his best score for Boston in July 2004, when he notched up 54 versus Long Sutton seconds.
